Big Reunion for former band Deuce ?

Brits are thrilled by a TV show named The Big Reunion. The show lifts the lid on the highs and lows of six chart topping groups, reunited after dramatic break-ups. Season 1 featured Atomic Kitten, 5IVE, B*Witched, Liberty X, 911 and Honeyz, who dominated the UK music scene from the mid-90s.

How will they react to the demands of a live performance after years away from the spotlight ? The bands have just two weeks of intensive rehearsals before they step back on stage to perform once again in front of thousands of fans. Would Deuce make it to season 2 ? Who knows…

Ant McPartlin’s wife Lisa Armstrong wants her very own Big Reunion — for former band Deuce. The 36-year-old is said to be “behind” ex-bandmate Craig Robert Young‘s plans to reform their ’90s pop group.

Deuce, made up of Lisa, Craig, Paul Holmes and Kelly O’Keefe, had four top 30 singles between 1995 and 1996. But the Abba-style band split in 1997 and Lisa went on to wed TV presenter Ant.

Craig, who now works as an actor in LA, told The Sun : “It’s been so long since we were all together. It’s funny how quickly time passes. We had some great times in Deuce. It would great to get back together again. After living in Los Angeles for 13 years, the idea is a little daunting, but a little exciting at the same time. Bring it on, I say !

Craig, who claims that Lisa and Paul are both keen for Deuce to make a comeback, is now trying to track down Kelly to see how she feels about the band reforming. He added: “Lisa would be behind Deuce reforming, should the opportunity arise.”
