‘Pepper’ comes to Europe

The short “Pepper”, written and direct by Craig R. Young and Marc Cleary will be screened at many European film festivals this fall !

• 5th Filfest Homochrom Köln – Germany (Oct. 13-25, 2015)

Filmfest Homochrom is one of the youngest LGBT film festivals in Germany, but also one of the biggest. It takes place in Germany’s gay capital Cologne and the Westphalian metropolis Dortmund, both part of Germany’s only megacity, the Rhine-Ruhr area.

• Feminist & Queer International Film Festival Bucarest – Romania (Nov. 6-10, 2015)

F.A.Q. International Film Festival, the only feminist and queer film festival in Romania is a unique annual event which will take place for the first time in Bucharest, 2015. The festival offers public screenings of films, meetings with foreign filmmakers, panel discussions and special events.

‘Pepper’ on the road to success

Congrats to Craig R. Young, Marc Cleary & the cast and crew of “Pepper” on winning the ‘Best Overall Short Movie’ Award at the ‘Film Out San Diego Festival’ !

Here are the latest festivals selections for “Pepper”. The team is actually applying to a lot more festivals around the world.

– Curta Gênero, Fortaleza, Brazil (April 7-18, 2015)

This year the Mostra Internacional Audiovisual Curta o Gênero extends its programm, with two sessions of films. Beside 40 films selected out of 170 registered, there will be a special session of 6 films produced by the ONG Fábrica de Imagens.

– A Sense of Pride, Los Angeles, California (June 13, 2015)

“Pepper” has been selected to play at Soho House West Hollywood Saturday June 13th as part of Brits in LA’s ‪”‎A Sense Of Pride”‬ screening series.

– Mix México – Diversidad Sexual en Cine y Video (May 26-JUne 15, 2015)

– Rio Gay Film Festival, Rio, Brazil (July 2-12, 2015)

The Rio Gay Film Festival screen feature and short films – fiction, documentary, experimental and animation, about gender and sexuality. It provides a connection for the people who share their passion for cinema.

Craig and Marc to attend the Pride Film Festival in Houston

Craig R. Young and Marc Cleary, the men behind “Pepper” are travelling together to Houston for the Pride Film Festival. It is a collection of feature and short films from, not only Texas, but across the world.

Craig & Marc will be in the audience Saturday and will be happy to answer questions from the audience after the screening of “Pepper”.

 The “Early Film Block” will start at 10 a.m. and consists of “The Last Farewell” (short), “Pepper” (short), “Click” (short),  “Alone With People” and two feature films “Before You Know It” and “Be Your Wo/Man”.  This block will conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tickets can be bought HERE.

Pepper awarded at the Zinegoak Film Festival

“Pepper” has been awarded with the “Hegoak Award” at the Zinegoak Bilbao Film Festival, for the best shortfilm, promoting positive attitudes towards sexual diversity and new family models, given by Hegoak Association. Congrats guys !

“Pepper” is also part of the CNKY Film Festival selection for 2014. You can buy your ticket for Block 5 on Saturday, November 15th HERE to have the chance to watch the movie in Cincinnati !

“Pepper” at the Louisville Festival

Check out this video from Craig R. Young, co-director and producer of “Pepper” part of today’s “Light Briefs” shorts session at the Louiseville LGBT Film Festival (Kentucky).

He’ll be attending the festival for a Q&A following the film at 1.00 pm.

“Pepper” at the Lone Star Film Festival

One more festival for “Pepper” ! The short movie has been accepted in to the Lone Star Film Festival (Texas).

The screening will take place on Sunday Nov. 9th at the AMC Theatre (11.00 am)

“Pepper” at the Clare Island Festival

The short movie “Pepper” is part of the Clare Island Film Festival ‘s selection. The movie can be watched during the “Short 5 – Outsiders” screening that will take place at the Community Center, between 12.00 am and 1.00 pm.

“Pepper” at the “Frameline SFO Film Festival”

“Pepper the Movie” is still travelling across the USA for more festival screenings and just came back from the “Frameline San Francisco Film Festival”. Again, the short movie had a lot of positive feedback.
